You didn't mention your Christian denomination? I would suggest stoicism lines up with Catholic beliefs but if someone disagrees I'm not sure I'll defend my opinion.
It also lines up with Jesus' teachings but as a Lutheran I obviously argue there is more to Jesus' life and death than his teachings.
At the end of the day God and the Bible are truth. There is also truth in stoic principles so there must be an intersection. | |
