north-central Indiana west of Fulton | They started with the Graham cars and thought they could save the company by making tractors, that didn’t work out. The cars were quite a high end car for the times. My son is head of the Graham Bradley and Sears sold farm equipment club…..and he went to Washington to see some factory drawings Tom Graham (grandson of one of the 3 Graham brothers), had found that were never seen by them until then. This was a few years ago now. They visited several locations that had buildings, including in town where one of the Grahams still has an office. My son thought the extended family still owns maybe a few thousand acres ? Their glass factory, that they no longer own, was in Loogootee. Lots of history about the Grahams, very interesting and quite prominent family in the early 1900s. |
