It reads to me like you're an Auction Rep for Auction Time as well. Nothing wrong with that...............just noticing the difference in how you said you collect the money. I know a couple of machinery dealers that also work for Auction Time so to speak.
I'd think if I call a Rep to come list my equipment on the farm that I wouldn't keep any Buyer's Premium if one was applied. But perhaps I'm wrong. Like anything.............whatever is agreed to on a contract is what matters.
Possible...I'm a dealer, and advertise with TractorHouse, so yes, I can take advantage of AT as well.
Sorry, I didn't think of that, but yes, likely whichever agent you would list through is keeping a premium if they use one, possibly that would be something you could negotiate during the listing of the item. It's entirely the choice of the "seller" on each item whether to click the buyers premium button on AT.
I'll also add that we typically don't sell huge dollar items on AT...typically under $50-60K, most under $25K, so it's not like we're getting an extra $20-30K in premiums per item, more like $100-3000 typically. We've never had much luck selling $100K items on AT unless it was something REALLY off the wall and niche.
