I don't have a dog in this fight, but have been curious about it. The Birkeland-Eyde process was developed in the early 1900s and was deemed inefficient shortly after, that being said, maybe they have found ways to engineer the process into a more efficient process. I mean, it has been 120 years since. I do know, there is a lot of science to growing plants and the relationships they have to biology in the soil. Same thing with people and biology. I feel it is best to keep an open mind, even if it doesn't fit your opinion.
