Its actually a steady steer going in an allis Chalmers 8030. I had the old on Trac controller mounted on the right hand fender in the corner on a plate but now the cables if I put it there isn't long enough to go down the fender and connect to the power cable I have under the dash like i did before, probably need 4 more feet.


Gotcha, you said SteerCommand earlier, so I assumed. SteadySteer can do it to I believe.

I would try and extend the cable and keep that thing out of the way of your feet. There's also a ton of room inside that RH console if you get in there, and I think a plug you can run power and cables out through. I've had steering on our 4W305 and 4W220 at times, and I always mounted everything hidden away in there...never did it on our 8070 though.
