Subject: RE: Case IH vs Deere sprayer weight balance

SE SD
1st self propelled sprayer I owned was a 4730 with 100' boom. Just traded it in Dec. for a R4045 120' boom & exactapply. I'm excited and can't wait to use it soon. I know it's a lot heavier than my old 4730, but I'm not worried about it. I know CaseIH makes a good sprayer too. But, I use all Deere guidance on everything so I wanted to keep it the same. I had CIH guidance in a Magnum and hated it! Switched it over to Greenstar, plus a bunch of repairs to fix drunk magnum syndrome now it works great! I don't mind red equipment, but Deere is years ahead technology wise in my opinion. Doesn't mean they get everything else right though. Nobody does.
