I saw some HDPE welded in Hawaii for water that was incredibly strong. One job the crew was fusing six inch and pulling the line with an excavator. The excavator got over a hill and couldnt see the pump house. He pulled the pump off of its mount and through a concrete block wall. It didn't hurt the line.
