Subject: Agleader Hyd. Steering questions

SC MN
I have a Cat 45 that is being steered by a geosteer that I would like to upgrade to a Steercommand or Steercommand z2. This is not supported by agleader. I am trying to figure out if that is because it is an older low demand application that wasn’t worth building harnessing for or if it just wasn’t possible with this valve. The difference I see with the valve is an oil temp sensor and a pressure control pilot. Currently there is a sa module between the geosteer and the valve. Is that module to control the pressure control pilot based on input from the temp sensor? Is there a difference in steering output signals between the geosteer and the steercommand being they are both novariant products? I’m wondering if I could build a harness between a steercommand and the sa module and get this to work. Any insight into how this system works would be much appreciated!
