Faunsdale, AL | The poly sounds like what I need. How do you join it? I remember rusty worm gear clamps on plastic barb fittings. All stainless clamps?
I don’t know the specifics of the black poly pipe we used but it soured us on poly. I was a child when that was put down and by the time I was a teenager we had moved on to PVC. Seemed like we were constantly digging it up to fix it and it would soon leak near where you had repaired it the last time. Probably a case of you get what you pay for.
12” is plenty of cover here to keep it from freezing but most of what we put down was trenched in 18” to 2’.
