You obviously have some medical knowledge.

So, what caused eggs to go from what I heard as a kid "nature's most perfect food"...to some time in the 60's: "being bad because of cholesterol according to the American Heart Association" .....to now being "good for us again"?

5 years ago the only thing I knew about nutrition was that fat had almost 2.5 times the energy than carbohydrates by weight. I learned that in Feeds 101 in college.

Everything I have learned since has come from books, YouTube, and studies found on the Internet. So take it with a grain of salt.

Acel Keys was a major driver in our current health paradigm.

The Russian grain embargo's effect on the original food pyramid was possibly the largest single factor, enabled to thrive by several other lesser factors.

My opinion only.

In other words, it's a well documented conspiracy.

5 years ago I didn't believe it. But now that I have changed my life via dietary changes, I can't discredit it.

Your mileage may vary.

"The Big Fat Surprise" by Nina Teicholz is a good read that is backed up 100% by a solid bibliography. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their quality of life.
