South Central MN | It's pretty easy to balance a sprayer compared to a tractor because 99% of the time, the tank & boom it leaves the factory with is what it'll wear it's entire life. Engineers know what the center of gravity is for that configuration.
Deere's balance has historically been off. Don't know about newer machines. They sold you an unbalanced machine with a lighter advertised weight with the sales pitch that you could add ballast to cover their poor design. I've never seen a sprayer need front weights in flat ground other than deere. | |
