Driftless SW Wisconsin

Ron, We have a Kiefer model 1000 steel gooseneck as you describe that I really like. It is very well built but the main feature I like is the single tube connecting the trailer to the truck hitch - allows you to see the load.

Wiring is another hot point with me - I want it in conduit or a very well secured cable. My life or someone else's may depend on the wire to those electric brakes.

I would strongly recommend the Kiefer. Although I do have a CornPro stock trailer I like - also well-built. Here's a link to the trailer we have.
