My apologies if I wasn't clear enough. I don't want all the recipients to also need whatever app I use. I just thought maybe there was an app that would allow me to put 100+ names on a particular text announcing a meeting or event or something similar. I just thought it could be sent to their regular "messages" (aka text).
If they need the same app I use, that won't happen.
But, maybe there's something like I am seeking.

We tried digging around for our fire department, and a third-party app is the only option to have mass text anymore. I sure wish it wasn't that way, but it seems higher powers have decided the public shall only have access to certain vehicles for mass communication. We used to be able to do up to 50 people on Verizon+, now G00gle messages lets you do 20.
