X2 Somethings going on. It was -30 below with windchills to -40 up here only had 20 cows drinking on a single pot waterer. Ritchie Eco fount 1. Never had an issue. 4 foot earth tube below it and water line is buried 8-9 feet deep going to it. Sealing up around the waterer can work wonders too.
