My dad took Lipitor for 30+ years as he didn’t want to die from a heart attack. I don’t think it helped him live longer or better as he accepted the side effects as just part of life’s deal.
If you listen to Dr. Diamond he talks of the increased cancer risk by taking a statin. That alone I will take a hard pass on.
