they make a heat tape that you simple attach to the pipe coming in-usually if it does freeze we pour 5gallon hot water down the incoming water line hole-come back 1 hour later and its open,if it happens all the time we hang a heat tape on the pipe coming in,with overflow waters very seldom it ever happens
