Those assumptions are how I’m basing my advice.

Leave these guys to assume and you will get pounced.

What you are describing is a cultipacker to me. Pulled one for 30 years. But unless it's a pup (we had a 12 foot center section and 2 3ft pups) it's going to be very difficult to get in the back of a pickup even without the hitch. I'll bet there is a 50% chance something get smashed. I'd try to get a flatbed with ramps and winch it on then spin it on the deck.
