Western illinois | I’ve been watching the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Scottsdale. Those guys run through the vehicles at a clip of one every 1.5 minutes or so. Many are 6 figure autos and some will be well into the 7 figures before it’s over. Gross was 207.6 mil last year. They also get 10% from the buyer AND seller. Then, they’ll be glad to sell you insurance on your new purchase, and of course line up transportation as well. There appears to still be a lot of money in this world. | |
