southern nebraska | My Dr is prescribing me 80mg of a statin for cholesterol, a year ago I was at 10mg. My bad cholesterol did not go up alarming high but I did take a MRI that shows elevated levels of plaque. Since taking 80mg I've gained 25lbs, my legs ache, I've got more brain fog and just other issues that I feel are drug related. I've read numerous articles on statins and appear to not be good for you. Before I go back in for check up would like to know what others are seeing, doing and taking.
These heart Dr's have to be going crazy with the carnivore diet but sounds like people are doing good with it. I like tators to much to do that.
