RobW SCWI - 1/23/2025 16:06  If the sensors can read that fast to see 600k rye go by, why can't it see 180k beans... One of the 7 mysteries of the world.

#1) You weren't drilling rye in 30" rows.   If you're in 10" rows you have 3x as many sensors counting seeds/acre.   If you are on 7.5" you have 4x as many sensors.

#2)  Were you really planting 600k of rye seed or were you planting ~700k or more?

My theory is that when you get to certain point (population x row spacing x speed), beans are going by fast enough and close enough together that it sees multiple seeds as being "one".
