Absolutely do NOT get your feeder chain from Abilene Machine! I got a pair of them for my 8240 and the master links broke while tightening the nuts. So we re used the old master links, cut 800ac of beans and every slat was bent. Also got their drive sprocket and there was no way to grease the splines like oem. All the sudden I'm not so opposed to paying dealer prices.
OEM sprocket tubes weren’t greasable on the splines for probably 10 years. The greasable sprocket tubes were for lubing the slip clutch originally. |
