IADAVE - 1/20/2025 21:32 I am surprised that some one claims a woven wire fence stops them. We fortunately do not have wild hogs. Woven wire fence is only an inconvenience for tame hogs.

They can certainly root under it if they want to but they’re just roaming around and come up to a net wire fence they just keep going taking the path of least resistance. When I was a kid we had about 50 sows when we were raising hogs and I know how they can escape from anything but it’s a lot different keeping them “out” than keeping them “in”.You get one caught in a trap and they can tear up up some pretty heavy iron.
