Here they're one and done. Guys are super pro baskets the first couple years. Then, years later, the next field cultivator has a 5 bar drag on it. I imagine that one year they went thru a mud hole with one soured the experience. IMO they make the surface look good but I don't plant on the surface. I want granulated soil 1.5"-2.5" deep.


Walk behind a planter and you will understand why rolling baskets are important. Row units bouncing up and down is not a good thing.

The faster you plant, the more important that seems. Row cleaners seem to make baskets great to collect plastic twine that must have been dropped by aliens.
