| You're never going to get an accurate count of soybeans when you're dropping 180k/acre in 30" rows at 5 mph. That's just reality.
Were on 20" rows and only drop ~100k/acre. Our population count is closer than yours but its still not accurate like it is in corn at 30-34k/acre. Our planter has all Wavevision sensors, they are better than the regular DJ high rate sensors but still not 100%.
Just set the planter pop where you want it, turn up the air pressure (its nearly impossible to get extra beans in the plate) and plant. Check your acres planted against seed use when you fill to see it its close.
