SW Iowa | I don't specifically have knowledge of the Ranger model, but have covered quite a few acres with a 575 Navigator. I found it well designed/built and like the diaphragm pump a lot. Proprietary fittings and metric o-rings are a little annoying, but as long as you keep a few of the common parts on hand I can't remember many significant breakdowns. I would want a good dealer that stocks parts within a reasonable driving distance in case poop really hits the fan during go-time... in our case we got most stuff from a dealer a couple hours away but would have them ship (next day parts arrival) or stop through and grab things when otherwise in the area. Manufacturer phone/email support was good when we used it. Make sure you get a manual or download one and read it to understand how the system works, and go through and check things over preseason like any other piece of equipment. | |
