That's not the case with a Case IH leading edge disc opener setup. In fact, if they are within, I believe 1/8" apart yet they are within spec.

OP I don't know what the right answer is either. I am sitting with two planters right now that both need some work done to them. You want to be cheap with prices the way they are then you go to a few meetings over the winter, and you are told you are leaving 10-20+ bu on the table with a few items out of spec on the planter. After you get that fixed up you can then add another $2K per row (or more) bolting new gadgets on. You'll have a 100 bushels an acre before you even plant the way it's sold.
