west central Iowa | We ran a 1200PT. Your closing discs wear and you don’t realize it. As they get worn, they will leave a little air pocket around the seed. This can cause corn to leaf out underground. Check with IH about when to replace closing discs. This is important and easily missed. We had improved stand after replacing our closing discs.
Other than that, just look it over good. Make sure the dust is cleaned out of the toolbar and sensor on row 1 or 2. | |
