I have a 3 valve in a 07 F150 and it’s the biggest POS I’ve ever owned. Bought it on a sale knowing the previous owner who had past away and barely drove it when timing jumped and I had to buy an engine. The little things never stop, spark plugs, exhaust manifolds, sensors,etc. It’s just a parts runner and doesn’t get many miles but they are expensive miles.
