oregon | I had a 5.4 in a new 1997 F150. I don't know how long they can go because my odometer quit at 90,000 miles and I refused to pay ~$500 for a new odometer display.
The engine was still running when I got $800 from the salvage yard 6 years later but it was going thru a quart of oil every few days. Probably about 200,000 miles.
The engine was the best part on that piece of junk. Worst vehicle, by far this farm has seen. | |
