North central TX | I wear a Garmin instinct 2. This one is solar and lasts around a month with normal text alerts active. Using any GPS function really eats battery. This one is about 1.5 yrs old and I am pretty hard on it. I had a non solar one before, for about the same length of time, that I credit with probably saving my arm. I got sloppy and lazy with a compound miter saw.
