I do this fairly regularly, and as long as they check out, most of the time I can get them caught up. Have a Vet check the ovaries and give it a go. I have had a few that had one bad ovary, so they could only cycle every other month (genetic). My vet taught me how to check them so after a few times I was able to forgo the Vet bill.
