It went in to the shop to fix a ticking sound. Shop quoted $4000 to fix exhaust gasket, cam and lifters. As work progressed they they found more and more to fix. ( sounds like a home remodel ). After $7000 we said NO MORE. Just put it back together as is. Had to sign a waiver for them to do that. At only 151,000 miles we got caught unprepaired.
The 5.7's had plenty of camshaft problems. I know nothing about the 6.2 but it can't be any worse than a 5.7 |
