Southern Illinois | Always grinds my gears when an out of area farmer says “that’s cheap” or “I can’t believe it brought that cheap.” Had one by us that brought nearly $13,000/ac and wasn’t bad but wasn’t prime either. A few friends of mine from 20 miles away couldn’t believe it brought so little. 95% tillable. 108 PI. The farm could’ve used some excavating and tiling but the prior farmer (good farmer) always raised good crops without it. | |
