It works great for that application.
3/4 pipe on 6” centers w at least 2” of EPS under it.

Figure 120 BTU per sq ft

If you’re doing a large slab it may take 2 or 3 zones

Wall mount water tube boilers work well with simple primary secondary piping.
Controls can be fairly simple as in a wall switch and timer to a fully automatic temp and moisture sensing control.
You don’t use a lot of energy as the slab is could till you want it to run.
I would use a 6 bag full air mix with a 6” slump at the site.
Last few jobs used fiberglass rebar. Fiberglass mesh is not a replacement for rebar.
