NW KS | Question for anyone that has had a touchscreen fail in a trimble FMX 1000, what did the FMX do when the screen began to fail? Got one that is acting up. It will either work prefect when you power it up or it won't respond at all. Beeps when you press the screen but nothing happens. Three things come to mind.
1: It is locking up for some reason. I have unplugged field IQ and autosteer. Doesn't seem to matter.
2: Touch screen is failing.
3: Something with the internal circuit boards. Power issue would be my guess there.
