Just buy the permits and do it the right way. You'll have probably $50-$75 bucks in permits for those two states if you are wide only.


Who says that's the right way? When I was hauling equipment Nebraska literally told me I didn't need a permit, if they tell me know don't need it it's kinda hard to buy it.....


I do my fair share of oversize equipment hauling and I have never once had nebraska dot tell me ag equipment was exempt from needing a permit maybe the people I have talked to at the permit office dont know what they are talking about? The only state I know of that is exempt is Illinois and thats for width only. I'm just saying why not spend the little bit of money it costs for the permits and not have to worry about it? Farmers will do anything to save a buck.
