Mohawk Indiana | After 40+ years of using Anhydrous Ammonia we have decided to switch to 28
I have bought an applicator and am going to set in some storage tanks to be able to have semi loads delivered
I’m trying to decide the best way to get the product from storage to the applicator
Nurse tanks that you would pull with a pickup truck seem too small
Thought about a flat bed semi trailer with a couple tanks but I don’t really have a good place to store it in the off season and I’m afraid it would deteriorate pretty bad
An actual Stainless Steel tanker kind of seems like overkill.
I am thinking about getting a 28’ single axle pup van trailer and putting one 3450 gallon tank in it. It could sit outside and hopefully not rot away in the off season.
Only have 5-600 acres of corn to side dress per year and most of it is close to home
Any suggestions? | |
