Awhile back I sold some crop with my broker, and had him set another target abit higher than current. A week or so later I decided I did not want to have that working anymore so I texted him to pull it around 930am. At 1215pm same he texted back that it had filled in the overnight, which was incorrect. It had filled around 1130 that morning, 2 hours after I told him to pull it.
I know I should have called him, as he said he was on vacation, but it was normal business hours and texting is very common in our communication. I will honor it, but it does irk me abit as it would be enough for a nice beach vacation and we been short on those lately;) Do they ever take part responsibility for such things?
Sept. 2023 I texted ADM buyer for a sell at $18 , it hit .I was sloppy and never followed up and found out she got married and was on honeymoon.
Now she forwards text/calls to associate if away..Same as Anderson's they leave business phone with another broker
