Big Sky Country
I’m wondering if a thermal barrier underneath and on edges would help?
Just heat the concrete,

We put in floor heat in our fire hall—-barrier underneath and guy told me to be sure and do slab edge where it met foundation wall. 2 equipment zones @ 55, 1 meeting /office/bathrooms zone 70.

7,000’, think really cold Feb was $700.

Neighbor town copied ours, didn’t break at wall, snow would melt next to building, their bill was big.

Said it got better when they closed that zone off.

We used tech foil —-foil, bubble bubble plastic. No insulation value, but same thermal barrier as 2” ridgid foam—-way cheaper and nicer to work with
