| Around here, the billionaires have pushed the millionaires out. Money is no worry to them. They put in heat melt on driveways, walkways, and patios. The gas supplier had to install a much larger main, and jack the pressure to 600 PSI. In a green community, this didn't fly with the democratic city council. Result- city council put a ban on outdoor heated surfaces. Only way to get a permit for one was to prove a hardship, such as a really steep driveway, and that involved having your attorney kneel. Moral of the story, if there is one, don't be using too much energy on a flat area, don't run it all the time, and don't tell anybody in government you have it. | |
