I too wish Biden would not have pardoned Fauci and all Jan 6th committee members. I think pardons should only be for convictions. I don't think they could have been convicted by a jury of their peers. This does possibly obviate their need to hire lawyers.
I believe Gerald Ford is the one who started this by pardoning Nixon.
