IA/MN/WI
I work with a couple dry bean growers out in your neck of the woods, Marlette, Peck, a few up by Bad Axe and Kinde. We’ve made some program changes over the last 2 years with good success. They are running a very low salt starter in-furrow. Costs about $3.50 per gallon($625ish per ton). And then we’ve had good results running a micro pack on the seed with our inoculant and seed lubricant. First started the program with a couple growers in central MN 3 years ago, up to about 18,000 acres of edible beans in MN and 3400 acres in MI.
My email is in my bio if you’re curious.
