We have a 12 X 24 office inside a 24 X 24 building. 3 zones, heating with a water heater. Office is carpeted. Very easy to heat, but we also have a couple south facing windows that we're getting a lot of solar gain from.
I guess if I wanted carpet, I wouldn't let the infloor heat prevent me from putting carpet in.
