Southwest Iowa | Here are the results from the land auction earlier today in Pottawattamie County.
Tract 1 was a no sale. High bid was $9500/acre. Seller wanted at least $10K/acre. Not sure if anything was worked out after the auction with the seller and potential buyer.
Tract 2 brought $8250/acre. Local farmer that lives 1 mile south of the ground was the buyer.
Prices were a little soft to what i was thinking they'd bring. I was expecting anywhere in the $10-12K range.
