Western Oregon
Hope all goes well. I almost lost my big toe in an Ezze Flow fert spreader when I was 6. Ripped the first joint apart and separated big toe from rest of foot back 3". It was all sewn back together, along with skin grafts inside of and bottom of the arch. Affected my balance. Polio at 7. Broke that ankle in 3 places and 2 places in small bone in leg. At 6 weeks found out I had drop toe when cast came off, at 50. 5 years later ankle fusion, then ankle joint removed and fused because everything was coming apart. They fused ankle so my heel hit ground first but still not enough as my toes droop causing me to stumble. Walk with lift on rocker sole. Use arm crutches 60% of the time because of balance issues and stubbing my toe(s). 3 times in my life, I had to learn to walk again....James
