Ship the open , If in good condition they are worth$$$$$. Find a nice set of bred heifers or young cows to replace them . Better then losing a calf in what might be the best year to own cattle.
I bought a group of 25 bred heifers 5 years ago and maybe have 5 left. Outside cows do way worse than home raised. It’s like there’s something in the soil or low level disease that my own cows are largely immune to. |
