West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's) | When passed both sides were on board and one of the key components of this bill for Agriculture was upgrading and refurbishing of the Lock and Dam system along the Mississippi and key tributaries. Prior to the “inflation reduction act “ the infrastructure bill was one of the biggest spending bills ever passed.
Has anything significant been done with all that infrastructure money?
Are the locks and dams being improved?
I’m legitimately curious who’s been following up to ensure we’re getting returns on that “investment “ it’s been at least a couple years since it passed. I haven’t noticed any more road/bridge activity the past few years either. I don’t recall hearing about any major lock/dam improvements either (but I’m 3+ hours away from the Mississippi River)
