Sounds like you are doing a great job management wise to be having this problem. Didn't mention if you were testing every bull every year. As you probably know one or two bulls can be dominate breeding most of the cows. It's possible that there is a problem in the midst of breeding season with bulls shooting blanks and also not letting other bulls breed them. Sort of a long shot but I guess anything is possible.
Yup every bull gets semen tested every year about 60 days before breeding. |
