Because I can afford it, and I don’t like driving old vehicles for my “good” ride.
I’ve got a 2003 f350 with 220k on to beat around in. Also a 69 Ford with who knows what for miles. Dash cracked, rear view mirror fell off, etc. I can bum around in junk, just not when I’m going to town or wherever.
How many miles on vehicle are you comfortable with?
