The problem with bale rings that I see is a lot of guys are a “set it and forget it” deal. Put a weeks worth of hay out at a time and look at it in a week. You’re bound to have waste that way.
And mud……I hate mud. Hate seeing cattle standing belly deep in 1 spot.
But at the end of the day…….anyone is free to run their operation the way they want.
